Wisdom's Cafe, Tumacacori, AZ

 September 2008

While we were worrying about fog and cold preparing for our ride into San Francisco it seems Arizona, at least the Southeast corner, was getting some excellent riding days.

Must have been a most excellent riding day on the traditional SEAT Club second Sunday of the month lunch gathering as there was quite a crowd at Wisdom’s Café, 53 SEAT members and guests.  That’s a pretty good turn out for sure!

By the number of high  scores on the SEAT Café Survey, the food must have been pretty good as well.  Scores were in the 7s and 8s, which is pretty high for this discriminating crowd.

All those huge chickens looking over your shoulder and I was told they don’t do chicken!  Reminds me of the Clown Cafe (Landmark Café in Sierra Vista).   There was millions of Clowns looking over your shoulder.

A special thanks to Bob and Marianne Muller for taking the pictures and the SEAT roll call at Wisdom’s.  Hope everyone got to say Hi! to Bob and Marianne, we don’t want to miss anyone.  Well done, thanks guys.

And guess what?  It’s Bob’s birthday month, too.  A SEAT Happy Birthday to Bob Muller, just a youngster at 69!  Right on!

Next month we head to the north west of Tucson to the Marana Stockyards Café.  This is another café that SEAT has not gathered at, and like Wisdom’s they are opening on a Sunday just for us.  Looking forward to it.

Don’t miss the Deming Gathering next month.  Don Cameron does a most excellent BBQ.  This year it will be on November the 8th.  It’s our featured rally this month, check it out on page 6.  It’s a good one!
