he weather this time of year can really throw a monkey wrench
into a planned ride. A monsoon rain storm can dump enough water
on the road in an hour to float a battleship. Bless our lucky
stars, that wasn’t the case for the SEAT Overnighter and the
SEAT Breakfast Gathering in Bisbee over the weekend of 10 to 11
August. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or better
Seems Bisbee was having their Pirate Weekend the same weekend.
Most of the folks working in the stores and restaurants were
dressed in various stages of Pirate attire. The waiter at the
Screaming Banshee Pizza restaurant was totally argh! The
waitress at The Grand Hotel was even a bit racier. Made for a
The pizza and beers at the Screaming Banshee were very good.
Service was friendly, thank goodness, because the kitchen was a
bit backed up. The Banshee is obviously a favorite for the
locals and visitors alike. There were 12 SEAT members and
guests. We celebrated a birthday happening with song and door
prizes. It was a hoot! SEAT Members & Guests: Nick Clement &

Breakfast was at the Bisbee Breakfast Club. The
Club changed owners a few years back and now is open 7 days a
week. The food continues to be good and the service excellent.
SEAT took the whole side room with 21 members and guests.
Interesting that one of the folks enjoying the SEAT Breakfast
Gathering was one of the previous owners of The Club. Good
