SEAT Lunch at the Land Mark Café in Sierra Vista
The middle of July is a tough time of the year to go for a ride. It can be hot. Sierra Vista is normally 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Tucson so that’s why the Land Mark Café came up. Still, the coming and going was hot.
And the Land Mark Café did great taking care of the SEAT members who braved the heat. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Even the out door tables were cool enough to sit for a bit.
Normally the July lunch is up on mount Lemmon. So far only one restaurant/café/deli seems to be doing business. Too bad as the road up Mt. Lemmon has been finished and early reports is that it is great. We are looking to do the September lunch at the deli if possible.
Nice to see a couple of new members at the lunch for the first time. Be sure to check the SEAT web site to see your picture in the Members Directory. Craig does a most excellent job at keeping the web site right.
The Amado Café is next month’s lunch location. August shouldn’t be quite so hot. The monsoons have finally arrived and will cool the temps back down to acceptable riding weather. Arivaca is just down the road. You can get a great cup of coffee at the Gadsden Coffee Company, just east of Arivaca.
It might be a good idea to bring your rain gear, too. See you there!
