Tell us if you are going.
The BMW MOA National Rally for 2017 will be held in Salt Lake City July 13th through July 15th 2017. As it is so close to us this is a unique opportunity for SEAT members to attend. Here is the announcement on the BMW MOA website.
We will have one or more group rides from Tucson to the rally or you can make your own plans. We will meet Wednesday morning. The meeting time and place will be announced later.
We would stay the first night, July 12th, in Kanab Utah. It is 438 miles. The recommended motel in Kanab is Canyon Lodge. Call (844) 322-8824. Hurry as they fill up.
We will have dinner at Sego's, walking distance to the hotel, at 6 pm.
We would then ride the next day up US 89 to UT12 through Escalante, Torry, north to Huntington, over UT31 to Fairview and on to SLC. With this route we arrive late afternoon in SLC. Others might prefer to go straight up US89. It is about a 5 hour ride that way.
Camping will be available at the rally or you can make your own reservations at a motel near the site. The KOA Campground is next to the Fairgrounds and has small Cabins, Tent camping, and RV camping. They also have a nice Pool and Hot Tub, clean showers and lots of shade.
Make your reservations now as rooms are going to be difficult to get and they are expensive at some motels. Some SEAT members have already made their reservations. They were made at different motels. Check the list of those going to see who is staying where.
