AZ Beemer Roadrunner Rally, Heber, Arizona
†††† The AZ Beemer folks work extra hard to make sure everyone has a good time at the Roadrunner Rally.† This year Brian Boles was the Chief Rally Master.
†††† There was a chili dinner for the folks getting to Camp Shadow Pines on Friday.† Live entertainment Friday night was an Arizona band called Junction 87.
†††† For dinner Saturday night the choice was either chicken or beef fajitas.† They went well with the cold beer the Blomstromís brought for us all.† Thanks guys!
†††† Brian gave away a couple of nice door prizes Saturday night.† Melanie Godwin won a new jacket...after buying a one earlier.† No entertainment Saturday night, just conversation and your beverage of choice.
†††† The riding in and around the Heber area is some of the best in Arizona.† The rally site has improved every year.† Lots of grass camping areas with tree shade.
†††† Not everyone was satisfied with the rally meals.† Also, the absence of any entertainment Saturday night was missed by some.† Many asked where the Belly Dancers were.
†††† Still, the reason to go to a rally is the old and new friends you get to hang out with.† In that regard, the rally was a grand success.
†††† Next year the rally will be in Williams at the city park.† Mark your calendars for the third weekend in May 2010.†
†††† See you there!
